Hotel Húsavík is a family run hotel with a homey vibe and tons of interesting history, located at the heart of the Diamond Circle in North Iceland.

This is the perfect place to stay in for a couple of days while exploring the wonders of the Diamond Circle and the Arctic Coast Way. The Geosea natural baths are a short walk up the road and the whale watching area, for which our town is known for, is just a stone's throw away. Hotel guests even get a discount for the tours.Next to the hotel, there are two exhibitions. The Eurovision Exhibition displays original costumes and props from the world’s biggest music event as well as the Netflix movie “Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga”, which was partly shot in our hometown. The Why We Explore exhibition by the Exploration Museum offers an insight to the Apollo astronaut training in nearby areas, which took place in the 60's in preparation for the moon landings and various other stories of exploration.Both of these great collections are under one roof with the hotel, together with the Jaja Ding Dong bar & bistro. There you can enjoy signature cocktails inspired by the movie, beer on tap and specialties from local producers.
